5 simple ways to go vegan
Veganism is about opening your heart and mind to care more for environment , the animals and your own body. But how do you get there? How do you make the transition to a vegan lifestyle without feeling deprived? How do you stay vegan over the long term? And how do you make a vegan lifestyle one of abundance, compassion and amazing flavors?
Well we have come across 5 important tips over the Course of our vegan journey. We didn’t have very smooth translation at the beginning as we were not well educated about simple and small things that could make the transition very smooth. and let me tell you guys, its fun and satisfying
FIND YOUR COMMUNITY
Search out other vegan. Look for people who are vegan or have been vegan for period of time. This can give you a moral support and some basic education about the simple things like what groceries to buy, what kind of vegan food out there in your region and so on. If you don’t know any vegan, don’t fear ! Ask for help. Follow online vegan community on Facebook, Instagram, redif or any platform of your choice, as these places might give kickstart in your vegan journey. Don’t hesitate to message vegan people you find online as they could be also a very good support.
DONT BE EMBARRASSED
There has been many occasions and events where I have felt that I needed to explain myself to other people about why I am doing what I am doing. Lot of people misjudge you about your vegan lifestyle but its not a problem rather educate them about your lifestyle if you can or just leave it as it is and move on. I can personally tell about myself that I have been in many debate and discussion many times, sometimes its gets heated up but major time its fun and very Philosophical. So be proud of being vegan.
KNOW YOUR REASONS
You should be very clear in your head about the reasons. Whether your are doing this for your health, for animals, for environment or for any other reason. Be clear about why you becoming vegan both for yourself and for others who ask you so that you can educate them and tell them. This will keep you motivated and committed for a very long time.
EAT
One thing you all need to remember is don’t be shy to eat as much as you want and whenever you want. You don’t need to be on diet with vegan lifestyle as most of the vegan food is very low
on calories which makes it easier to do over eating. If you feel like getting a bit of a vegan cookies after you meal, then go ahead and delight yourself. Trust me when you vegan, all those green veggies and colourful fruits get digested so quick that you wont even realise what you eat last. So if you get food craving then go ahead and don’t stop yourself.
Pack your food if you going for a trip
Pack your food if you going for a trip Their are those days when we just plan a road trip for a day or two and then realise we don’t find any vegan restaurant or vegan food during the trip. The trick is have snacks and emergency rations available to you at all the times. You can cook one or two meal at home and pack it for your trip even some fresh fruit, a good salad or a groloana bar can be a treat in those situation.
